Pay It Forward
Pay It Forward is Friendly Collective’s hip-hop centric content series. The concept started by selecting one of our favorite artists to come in to the studio & perform a fresh verse on a popular beat. At the end of their performance, they choose & call out the next person to do the same, asking them to “Pay It Forward.”
The goal of this content is to challenge talented rappers to write verses on top of popular songs, giving them legitimacy to the greater hip-hop community & allowing Friendly Collective to connect to it’s roots in hip-hop.
